Professional project management, execution planning, meeting deliverables…

I’m sure many will agree with me when I say, management consulting commissions can turn fuzzy and grey very quickly. Because this type of work seldom produces a physical product, it is sometimes very difficult to gauge the value delivered. Mercor realizes this; and because our people have come from project delivery backgrounds, we approach our assignments differently. Whether it’s the development of a large infrastructure project or a more internally focused capability strengthening exercise, we use tried and tested delivery techniques. In conjunction with our clients, we develop a project execution plan early on for any work we undertake, so that objectives, deliverables and timeframes are understood and agreed; and the client remains in control of finances. Each project is carefully scoped and deconstructed into a number of simple action plans that are costed, scheduled and implemented.

Sharman is a project management professional who has worked in Australia, New Zealand and South Africa in the management and development of capital infrastructure and assets.
